I offer a scientific approach to interior decorating, using published
studies of the psychological impact of sensory input, and applying
those findings to your environment (office, home or a single room).
I want people to know the consequences of making
décor decisions, and to understand the “why”
of their decisions. My goal is to remove, or at least minimize,
the degree of subjectivity in the world of décor, and to
help you move forward in your life rather than staying stuck in
the past.
I offer a truly unique interdisciplinary
approach, dealing with psychology, sociology, biology, anatomy and
neurophysiology that allows you to create the home that you desire,
one that is nurturing, stimulating, relaxing, but most of all, one
that represents YOU.
I accomplish this by offering the following services:
- Consulting on room makeovers for life enhancement.
- Showing how my approaches interface with traditional decorating
and avant garde modern designs.
- Explaining the (il)logic and (in)consistency of such esoteric
practices such as feng shui, rasa, vaastru, shibumi/wabi-sabi
or yugen.
- Real estate staging, including rearranging, color consultation,
design enhancement, accessory placement and psychological framing
for sellers, buyers and agents.
